Common Practice New York announces the publication of Near Contact, by David Joselit and Amy Lien & Enzo Camacho. Near Contact is available for download or purchase from Printed Matter.

 

Common Practice New York is an advocacy group that fosters research and discussions about the role of small-scale arts organizations in New York City. The members of Common Practice include Lambent grantee partners Artists Space, Danspace Project, The Kitchen, Participant Inc, SculptureCenter, and Triple Canopy.

RADIANT PRESENCE is a digital slideshow with images from the Visual AIDS' Artist+ Registry, the largest database of works by artists with HIV/AIDS. RADIANT PRESENCE features artwork by artists living with HIV/AIDS and those who are no longer with us. The artwork is interspersed with current statistics and information about HIV/AIDS today."
