2025 Grant Cycle

Welcome to Lambent’s 2025 Grant Cycle. This year, we have kept the reflection prompts and grant cycle process the same while we update our internal systems.

2025 Grant Cycle Overview

Guidelines

  • Lambent support is by invitation only.
  • Financial support in past years does not guarantee funding in 2025.
  • Lambent will continue offering up to US $100,000 in operating support to all current partners. If your request exceeds US $100,000, please clearly and briefly explain why.
  • Lambent will accept requests for project-specific support, general operating costs, or a combination of both.
  • Lambent will determine multi-year, annual, and final sunsetting grants.
  • All support requests should:
    • Specify the preferred Reflection Format (“Written Reflection” or “Conversation with Lambent”).
    • Include Financial Information (organizational budget, fiscal sponsorship details, contact updates, etc.) in Portable Document Format (PDF). We encourage you to use your existing organizational budget or feel free to use Lambent’s optional template.

Timeline

  • Support requests received before October 1, 2025, will be reviewed and determined within the 2025 calendar year. Requests received after October 1, 2025, may be delayed.
  • Our goal is to communicate about support requests promptly and effectively.
  • We aim to conclude our internal review and finalize our grant recommendations in a timely manner.
    • During this time, we may reach out with questions or to schedule conversations.
    • As a donor-advised fund, all Lambent grant recommendations require supplemental review and board approval by Tides. Lambent can no longer provide an exact timeline for the disbursement of funds. 

Notes

  • This web portal does not automatically save your information as you work. We recommend composing content in a separate off-line document and retaining it for your records.
  • After you click complete, a green success message will appear on your screen, and a confirmation email will be sent to the designated support request contact.
